Founded in 1970, TAITRA is Taiwan's foremost nonprofit trade promoting organization. Sponsored by the government and industry organizations, TAITRA assists enterprises to expand their global reach. Headquartered in Taipei, TAITRA has a team of 1,300 specialists and operates 5 local offices as well as over 60 branches worldwide. Together with Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) and Taiwan Trade Center (TTC), TAITRA has formed a global network dedicated to promoting world trade.
TAITRA hosts nearly 30 annual industry trade shows, including COMPUTEX TAIPEI, Taipei CYCLE, TIMTOS, Taipei AMPA, and Food Taipei. The shows attract tens of thousands of buyers every year boosting the development of Taiwan's industries. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, TAITRA has changed the exhibition model by exhibiting through online and offline hybrid platforms to fulfill both exhibitor demand for exploring international businesses and buyer procurement needs during the pandemic prevention period.
