Visitors and consumers will have the chance to taste a variety of Eswatini products, such as beef (ESWATINI MEAT INDUSTRIES LIMITED), honey (Honey Wise), chili sauce (Black Mamba), as well as the opportunity to knowing a bit more of quality and strength of Eswatini agricultural sector.
The main external destination of Eswatini livestock products is currently Norway, which observes the EU's import standards and offers preferential access and tariff free quotas. Eswatini has been exporting beef to Europe for more than 50 years. Eswatini's cattle are raised on natural pastures and diets without any chemical growth promoters. It already through the permission of Taiwan. We'll hold the beef tasting in the morning and afternoon of our food show.
As you would expect, we follow a traceability and HACCP program as required by our European customers. Further our Quality program is accredited by the British Retail Consortium (BRC). All the beef we export is Halal-certified by the South African Halal Authority and it is shipped either chilled and
vacuum packed, or frozen. Lastly, EMI slaughters only around 7,500 cattle each year for export. This means that we focus on maximizing value by custom packing our beef according to each customer's specifications.
